For our Autumn qigong flows, we’ll focus on healing the metal element organs: the lungs and large intestine. By purging and strengthening these organs, we’re more easily able to let go (pent up emotions, grudges, and pathogens that cause sickness - like dryness). These practices boost the immune system, inspiration, and courage, and encourage us to be in the present moment!
Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese mind-body-spirit practice that combines gentle movement, meditation, and breath to promote optimum health and wellness. It has also been referred to as "energy yoga". Qigong isn’t your average workout. This is a space for deep transformation and healing. When you practice qigong, you’re practicing self-love and learning to heal yourself (truly from the inside out).
We do new routines each month, and classes are suitable for beginners and experts alike. Practice self-care by slowing down, focusing your attention inward, and leave feeling refreshed and with a greater sense of peace.
