Qigong practices for Fall are associated with the lungs and large intestine, and support our ability to let go. This is a perfect time to release accumulated emotions, forgive old grudges, clear out what you don't need, calm the mind, and gather your spirit. Our qigong flow for this month helps with this shedding process, boosts the immune system, as well as your ability to live courageously in the present moment. After all, the present moment is a gift!

The energy of Winter is closing and storage. During this period, all of nature is in a state of stillness and hibernation. Therefore, this is not the time to waste energy. It's the best time to conserve your energy and nourish your qi. Qigong practices for Winter emphasize stillness and inward reflection, sleeping longer hours, taking naps, self-massage, and maintaining internal warmth throughout the organs (especially in the lower dantian, your internal furnace).

Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese mind-body-spirit practice that combines gentle movement, meditation, and breath to promote optimum health and wellness. It has also been referred to as "energy yoga". Qigong isn’t your average workout. This is a space for deep transformation and healing. When you practice qigong, you’re practicing self-love and learning to heal yourself (truly from the inside out).

We do new routines each month, and classes are suitable for beginners and experts alike. Practice self-care by slowing down, focusing your attention inward, and leave feeling refreshed and with a greater sense of peace.

Cost:

  • Single Class: $24
