Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese mind-body-spirit practice that combines gentle movement, meditation, and breath to promote optimum health and wellness. It has also been referred to as "energy yoga". Qigong isn’t your average workout. This is a space for deep transformation and healing. When you practice qigong, you’re practicing self-love and learning to heal yourself (truly from the inside out).
Qigong flows are created to aid seasonal healing according to the Five Elements Theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine. During the winter, we’ll focus more on kidney and urinary bladder health, releasing fear and insecurity, boosting wisdom, confidence, and your energy reserves. This is prime time to look within, dipping into your deep inner knowing.
We do new routines each month, and classes are suitable for beginners and experts alike. Practice self-care by slowing down, focusing your attention inward, and leave feeling refreshed and with a greater sense of peace.
