Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese mind-body-spirit practice that blends movement, breath, and intention to promote optimum health and wellness. It’s also been referred to as "energy yoga." There are thousands of styles of qigong – tai chi is the most well-known. We’ll practice various styles.
Tapping into the wisdom of Chinese Medicine, qigong flows are crafted for seasonal healing. During our March routine, we’re working through the energy of transitions from winter to spring. For winter, we’ll keep supporting the kidneys (your foundational energy source). For spring, we’ll focus on healing the liver, supporting the energies of growth and expansion.
To support your wellness journey, we’ll end our flow with self-guided acupressure and meditation.
We do new routines each month, and classes are suitable for beginners and experts alike. Practice self-care by slowing down, focusing your attention inward, and leave feeling refreshed and with a greater sense of peace.
